let’s go on a lil journey…

In 2016 two youtubers (Alissa Violet and Jake Paul) broke up. This was waaay before Jake Paul was a boxer (is that right?) and I had never heard of either of them. But their break up was so public (and included multiple diss tracks from different hype houses) that it was impossible for me to ignore. I made a whole deck about the timeline of their relationship and that’s how “things i like” was born.

During the creation of that deck I was a mid-ish art director who was very, very tired and had zero time to put effort into anything I cared about outside of work. But today, almost six years later, I’m an occasional freelancer living in a fugue state and ready to share the inside of my brain with you.

So. Welcome! I hope you’ll stick around for me to tell you all about how much I like the L.L.Bean Boat & Tote, gadgets, ducks (the superior bird), when Sutton from RHOBH says “We’re wealthy women. We have LLCs.,” Erin Brockovich, Nespresso Pods, 9/11 songs, Dolly Parton/Ru Paul/Lady Gaga fracking fanfiction, Bonefish Grill, web weaving, reliving my greatest pranks, etc. !!!!

And if you get a monthly/annual subscription I will gladly tell you all the things I hate like people who have less than 8 hours of screentime, Indianapolis, this one time when my friends decided that they hated Little Women (2019) and I still haven’t forgiven them, ramps season, Scrub Daddy, when you’re watching a tv show that hasn’t fully buffered so there’s a lag with the sound, and the concept of time. :)
