Who’s ready for another season of Love Island? I’m not usually much of a winter Love Island girl, but you’re telling me that all of my fav friends (who are still single) from the past (almost) ten years are going to be back in the villa? Sign me up. Let’s go.
If you need a refresher on how to watch Love Island, here ya go.
I haven’t looked into any details of the show because up until a few days ago it wasn’t even confirmed to be airing in the US. Luckily it will be airing on my favorite streaming service, Peacock. That being said, I don’t know who is coming. I don’t know any twists. I don’t know how long it is. I don’t even know if there’s a Casa Amor. But spoilers are always a possibility! Stay vigilant!

Episode 1
Anton was a fan favorite on Series 5, partly because he openly talked about how his mum shaved his butt, and partly because he cried when Craig David gave a surprise performance. He had a lot of bad luck in the villa when he was mugged off by Molly Mae, Arabella, Amber, Lucie, Elma, and eventually ended up with Belle who did not like or trust him. Hopefully, luck is on his side this time!
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Somewhat Unlikely.
While Anton was coupled up with/pursued a lot of women in the villa, he didn’t really have strong connections with anyone. Belle, who he had the longest connection with, is currently dating a pro rugby player so she definitely won’t be there. Maybe if Arabella is a bombshell, but even then, it wasn’t a traumatic breakup, she just led him on for 24 hours.
After spending only a week in the villa during Series 5, Arabella didn’t really make an impression on me. She is the kind of bombshell that goes into and doesn’t make an effort to befriend anyone. Tommy Fury literally said, “If we vote her out no one will notice.” Not a great place to be! Didn’t work out for her in Series 5, but maybe it will work out now?
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Pretty Likely.
Lol, did I call it or did I call it? I can’t believe her and Toby had dated in the past. HERE WE GO.
Ok. Sorry, spoiler if you haven’t finished the episode. What can I say about Callum? He’s a scaffolder! Fun! Callum became a fan fav on Series 6 where he was coupled up with fan fav Shaughna. They were tested quite a few times with Callum being picked by quite a few bombshells (he’s hot and nice), but he always made his way back to Shaughna…untill… ~*!!CASA AMOUR!!*~ He returned to the villa with Molly, and they were in a relationship until September 2023... And while January might have felt like it’s taken ages, in reality, it’s been less than six months since they broke up. Interesting.
Not to be like, is this a ploy to be on the show, but is this a ploy to be on the show? Time will tell!
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Extremely Likely.
Molly was literally two steps behind him. Luckily, Shaughna just had a baby so he won’t have to worry about her popping up in the villa.
During Series 5, Chris was in the villa for less than two weeks. He was absolutely brought in for Maura, but it didn’t work out because Maura chose another weirdo, Curtis (throw-up emoji), leading Chris to couple up with a girl named Harley, who I can’t remember for the life of me. Maura and Chris gave it a shot a few years after their series, but it didn’t work out. Since leaving the villa, he has worked as a YouTube prankster… I know. He did The UK Reality TV Circut™, appearing on Supermarket Sweep, Dinner Date, Hey Tracey!, and Living the Dream, before randomly meeting Margot Robbie (big Love Island fan) at a bar and landing the role of a lifetime as Emcee Ken in Barbie (2023).
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Unlikely?
I can only see it being dramatic if Maura comes in, but I think she’s still with her stuntman boyfriend.
She’s the fun one! Demi was a bombshell during Series 6 and ended up placing third with Luke M. They didn’t end up lasting, and he never seemed that into her. After leaving the villa she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, but luckily caught it early and has been cancer-free for two years!
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Completely Unlikely.
Lucky for all of us, we won’t have to worry about seeing Luke M in the villa ever again because he is engaged to actual pick-me demon Lucie from Series 5.
Georgia was actually on TOWIE before Love Island, but she really got the short end of the stick when she walked into the villa during Series 3. She was forced to couple up with someone immediately, and she chose Kem, not knowing that he was with Amber. There was a lot of bullying and a lot of tears just for her to be dumped a few days later. After leaving the villa, she did The UK Reality TV Circut™ and ended up being a regular on The Challenge, where she started dating an evil man, Stephen Bear. Eventually, Bear started an OnlyFans account where he uploaded videos of him and Georgia that were filmed without Georgia’s consent. She sued him, and now he’s in jail. :)
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Unlikely.
Kem could show up at any second, and let’s hope he does, but I doubt that will have any impact on Georgia or her relationships.
Loyalty. Loyalty. Loyalty. Georgia wasn’t the first girl to get mugged off after Casa Amor, but the earth shook a little bit when Josh walked back into that villa in Series 4. After the fallout, Georgia lost it a bit (she was like 18) and never really connected with anyone else. Since then, she did The UK Reality TV Circut™, appearing on Celebs on the Ranch, Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity Coach Trip, Ex on the Beach: Peak of Love, and most recently, Love Island Games, where she coupled up with Toby. They were unfairly voted out by shit gameplay from American Islanders, and I’m still not over it.
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Somewhat Likely, I guess?
Her ex, Josh, is in a serious relationship, so I’m guessing that won’t be drama. But I’m guessing there will be a LOT of drama with Toby. Maybe they’re meant to be? Maybe Chloe will come in and k*ll Georgia? Only time will tell!
The OG. Hannah was the first and only woman to get engaged IN the villa. It’s actually insane because Series 1 was only 40 days long. Anyway, the engagement obviously didn’t last, and they fell victim to the On The Outside Curse™, breaking up within three months of leaving the villa. Since being in the villa ten years ago, she has had a child with a very interesting individual.
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Unikely?
Her ex-fiance Jon Clark, was on TOWIE (The Only Way Is Essex) for a few years after they left the villa, but he isn’t active on social media or written up in any of the blogs. Hannah said in her promo interview that they’re on good terms, so I doubt there will be drama even if he shows up.
Evil man. He treated Liberty terribly in Series 7. He claims to have matured, but I have a feeling the only thing different about him is his Turkey Toupee™.

I can barely remember Josh immediately after watching the episode. He has such a Love Island face. Like is this Scott (my beloved)? He could be his brother. And even after googling him, I can’t really find anything to make him more memorable from Series 1. It seems that after leaving the villa, he did The UK Reality TV Circut™, showing up on Ex on the Beach (two seasons), Just Tattoo of Us, and Celebrity Coach Trip. He is now an OnlyFans Creator and almost dated Georgia H.
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Maybe?
Not from his ex from Series 1, Lauren Richardson, who quit reality TV. Maybe Georgia H? I’m not sure. Their vibe is SO weird right now.
I’m probably most excited about having Kaz back. She’s FUN, and she’s FUNNY, and she’s not afraid to call the boys out. Kaz was unfairly villainized during Series 7 when she dumped Matt, who wasn’t that interested in her getting back together with Tyler, a man she had real chemistry with. There was a lot of discussion about how the producers had purposefully given her a villain-esque edit that led to a lot of hate and racist comments online. Production claims they will do better every year, so we’ll see. Regardless, I’m glad that Liberty will be there to support her <3.
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Very likely.
I can’t imagine a world where Tyler doesn’t come into the villa. Luckily, it seems like Matt has a girlfriend.
Lib, what are you doing here? Girl, please… I can’t do this again. Liberty is a sweet angel and a fan favorite, but in my opinion, she isn’t meant to date the men on dating shows. On Series 7 she was coupled up with Jake who used Liberty’s popularity to get to the final. He led her on, going as far as to say he was in love with her and then going behind her back to say he wasn’t. Liberty broke up with him and decided to leave the villa a few days before the final, and we say good riddance! Last summer, she went on Love Island Games, where she was consistently friend-zoned by every man in the villa. But. I am here for the Kaz and Liberty show.
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Pretty likely.
Hopefully, she can ignore Jake.
I should honestly rewatch Series 1. Luis was an OG who came in fourth and had a daughter with his partner, Cally. He’s a professional football player and owns a luxury car dealership. According to early reports, he has a girlfriend on the outside… Tsk tsk Luis.

It’s been a decade. No one cares anymore.
Messy, Messy Mitch. He is …something else. I don’t even want really write this. He was on Series 10, and he wants so desperately to be a gamer fuck boy, but he’s not smart or hot enough to pull it off. I will be shook to my core if any of the girls actually want to couple up with him.
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa: Unlikely or Very Likely, who can really tell?
People either love him or hate him.
Molly was a Casa Amor darling in Series 7 who Callum brought back to the villa. She’s a sweet girl, but her personality was overshadowed by the Shaughna drama. Her and Callum dated for three years and lived together but broke up in September 2023. I’m getting the vibe that she took the breakup much harder than he did, so I think we’re in for some interesting interactions.
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? Guaranteed.
I mean…Molly and Callum broke up in September. Can you imagine being in the villa with your ex of three years? I would be losing my mind.
The messiest boy. The love of my life. In 2021 I asked the universe if we could watch Toby date for the rest of our lives, and while it might have taken a couple years, we’re so back. Toby is a semi-professional football player and was infamous during Series 7 for jumping from girl to girl and constantly going back to Chloe. They dated for a few years but recently broke up. Many allegations have been thrown around, but neither of them has revealed what led to their breakup. Since then, Toby went on Love Island Games, and coupled up with Georgia S. They seem pretty well-suited. I’m nervous for them.
Likelihood of having a dramatic reunion in the villa? 100% Likely.
Toby is just the kind of person who attracts trouble wherever he goes, so I have no doubt this season will be any different. And while I would love nothing more than for Chloe to come in and wreak havoc, I think the big drama will be with Georgia S.
Seeing Toby in the villa makes me wonder how many members of Destiny’s Chaldish production will bring back…
