Last week was …something. Definitely not something I want to relive. Luckily, it’s over (and hopefully, it’s not indicative of 2023).
my resolutions:
correct my posture. Yes. This is the fourth year in a row that this is my number one resolution. No. I will not buy one of those shoulder blade button THINGS.
be less online. lol.
be less on my phone. Feeling more hopeful about this one.
be more cringe! Embracing my truth.
be more comfortable not knowing things. We’ll find out together if I’m capable of completely changing a part of my personality at age 31.
take things less personally. Again, we’ll see how this goes.
stop ordering takeout for dinner. Yet again, lol.
get to a place where I feel comfortable letting someone read the ****. :)

RE: Jail Birds. It is very likely that Jen Shah and Elizabeth Holmes will be serving their sentences in the same prisons. A prison for #GirlBosses.

things I’m watching:
M3GAN. Drop what you’re doing and go see my girl in theaters. As Harry Styles would say, this is a “real movie.” It’s meant to be experienced with fifty strangers and fountain sodas at the Regal Cinema of your choosing (I’m an Essex girlie).
Great British Bakeoff. I’ve been putting off watching the new season for my British Winter™ media aesthetic that I try to experience in January/February, but I’m worried it’s never going to be cold enough for me to enjoy it fully. This weird 50-degree rainy weather with the sun setting at 4 pm is going to put me over the edge.
Love Island Australia Season 4. Highly recommend. The people are very dumb. It’s also much shorter than UK seasons if you’re looking for a gateway drug into UK. More to come on a How To: Love Island this week in preparation for UK season 9.
John Tucker Must Die. This is one of the three movies I own on iTunes. It’s my favorite movie, except for when Brittany Snow says, “my mom says chocolate can even mend your broken heart,” and I cringe so hard I die. Otherwise, it’s perfect. Zero notes. They don’t make them like this anymore.
She’s The Man. I hadn’t seen this movie in years and forgot how laugh-out-loud funny it is. We really let Amanda Bynes down.
21 Jump Street. Sometimes you just need a Channing Tatum double feature.

My laptop broke, and when I went to pick it up from the Apple Store they made me wait for 30 minutes while my friends sat double-parked in the car.
Pharmacies. I’m having so many problems with my insurance/getting my prescriptions, and it’s so exhausting.
Mercury Retrograde. I’m usually not anti-retrogrades. I usually don’t think they’re bad. But this one. This one is kicking my ass.
